High Commission of India participated in "Around the World" event organised by University of Ottawa Residents' Association at the campus on November 02, 2017. Besides India, 12 other diplomatic Missions put up their booths during the four hour event.

The Indian Pavilion showcased the flagship programs of Government of India – Make in India, Skill India, and Digital India – as well as the tourist attractions of India. The eye catcher was Taj Mahal banner displayed prominently. The Indian artifacts like colourful bangles, Diwali Diyas etc. attracted a lot of participants who were mainly students. Light Indian snacks were also served.

The event was very successful with around 800 visitors. High Commission of India’s booth was instrumental in whetting the interest of the visiting students in various facets of modern India including tourism, development and education.
