 Overseas Citizens of India as Faculty for Central Higher Educational Institutions

As per the provisions of the Citizenship Act, 1955, the Government of India has specified that a person registered as an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder shall be eligible for appointment as teaching faculty in the Central Higher Educational Institutions viz Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Central Universities (CUs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs).
