Resumption of Walk-in facility for Consular Services

 Consequent to the easing of COVID-19 restrictions related to public gatherings, walk-in Consular Services rendered by BLS International Services Ltd. have resumed, subject to the prevailing public health norms.

2.  Applications for following services can now be submitted at BLS International Centres in Ottawa and in Montreal (for Consular jurisdiction of High Commission of India, Ottawa) under walk-in mode :

• (a) Visas
• (b) OCIs
• (c) PCCs
• (d) Surrender Certificates; and
• (e) Indian Passports

3.  The facility of booking on-line appointment slots at BLS International Services Ltd. will remain available, and can be booked by visiting the BLS International Services Ltd. website https://www.blsindia-canada.com/appointmentbls/appointment.php

4.  The following services will continue to be provided by HCI, Ottawa only on prior appointment basis :

• (f) Attestation / Legalisation of documents viz., Power of Attorney, etc.
• (g) Life Certificate

5.  Appointments for the above two services provided directly by the High Commission directly can be booked through Suvidha Portal https://suvidha.hciottawa.gov.in/user/get-appointment
