This collection of paintings by emerging artists, including from India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Maldives and Sri Lanka, was created at a retreat organized by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) of the Ministry of External Affairs at the picturesque coastal town Puducherry on Bay of Bengal. The gathering was aimed at promoting cultural connectivity and sharing an atmosphere of bonhomie and friendship among the countries of the Indian sub-continent through the medium of art.

Acting High Commissioner Shri Anshuman Gaur inaugurated the exhibition along with the High Commissioner of Bangladesh Dr. Khalilur Rahman on 12th July 2022. The audience of the well-attended function included H.E. Martinez Serrano, Ambassador of Spain to Canada and H.E. Molise Paul Tseole, High Commissioner of the Kingdom of Lesotho, other members of the diplomatic corps, officials from the government of Canada, artists, Indian community leaders and media persons.
