Clarification regarding attestation of Annexure ‘D’ for issue of passport to a Minor

Clarification regarding attestation of Annexure ‘D’ for issue of passport to a Minor
(i) With a view to simplifying procedures, the requirement of attestation of Annexure-D by Indian Mission
& Posts abroad, where either parent is applying for passport of a minor and the other parent is residing
abroad, has been done away with.
(ii) In case either parent is aboard, he/she may submit his/her consent by producing a self attested
Annexure C/D along with the Passport application of the minor child.
