It has come to our attention that some travelers to India are booking passages through countries which are not covered under the Special Air Arrangement (Air Bubble) with India. This has led to passengers being stranded and facing difficulties as they are unable to board onward flights to India.

Travelers planning visits to India are hereby advised to;

(i)  Use the Vande Bharat Mission flights for travel from India to Canada, or

(ii)  Book air passage to India only through locations covered under Special Air Arrangement (Air Travel Bubble) with India.

(iii)  Check the updated list of countries having Special Air Arrangement (Air Travel Bubble) with India. The latest advisory from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, India, can be seen here-

(iv)  Note that different countries have varied requirements with regard to medical requirements and documentations for travel and transit through their airports. Please familiarize yourself with the country of origin and transit's particular requirements as well as the requirements on arrival in India for safe and comfortable travel.
